What we actually do

Six areas, one advisor, one plan. They're handled together because they don't actually behave like separate problems. A tax decision is an investment decision is an estate decision.

Investments

Globally diversified, low-cost portfolios rebalanced by written rule rather than by headline, built around your timeline, your taxes, and how much volatility you can actually live with.

Financial planning

A written plan covering retirement income, cash flow, and the major decisions ahead, reviewed on a set schedule and updated whenever life changes the inputs.

Tax planning

The decisions that carry the most tax (asset location, when income lands, when gains are realized, how long deferral is worth holding, what to do with concentrated or employer stock) worked through beforehand, not explained after. Your CPA files the return; this comes first.

Legacy & estate planning

Titling, beneficiaries, and legacy intentions read alongside your attorney's documents, because those documents only do their work if the accounts have been told about them. The drafting is your attorney's; making the accounts agree with it is ours.

Liability & risk

An independent read on the coverage you already carry (life, disability, liability) to see where the family is genuinely exposed and where you may be paying for overlap.

Business planning & analysis

For owners: retirement plan design, entity and compensation questions, and exit strategy prepared years ahead, so the business and the household plan are one decision, not two.

How it works

Four steps, zero mystery

1

Talk it through

A conversation at no cost to map where you are, what you're working toward, and whether we're the right fit. No pitch, no pressure.

2

Put it in writing

We build your written plan and portfolio, then walk you through it line by line until every part of it makes sense to you.

3

Keep it current

We implement, monitor, and report on a set schedule, and revisit the plan when your life, your business, or the law changes the inputs.

4

Go live your life

Which is the entire point of the first three. You get a plan that holds up and a person to call when something changes, so your attention can go somewhere else.

One annual advisory fee, in writing  · no commissions · no products sold
Fees

What it costs, in writing

One annual advisory fee, charged as a percentage of the assets we manage. The rate steps down as the relationship grows.

Chase Wealth Management annual advisory fee schedule by portfolio value
Portfolio value Annual fee
$0 to $1,000,0001.00%
$1,000,001 to $2,000,0000.90%
$2,000,001 to $3,000,0000.80%
$3,000,001 to $4,000,0000.70%

The rate above is applied to the assets we manage for you and is set out in full in your advisory agreement before you sign anything. No commissions, no product sales.

What we believe

Advice on your side of the table

We plan for the year you don't see coming.

A plan built in a calm year is the one that has to hold in a bad one, so that's the year we build it for. It's also why these pieces are handled together instead of separately. Bad years don't arrive one category at a time.

The only person paying us is you.

Fee-only. One annual advisory fee, in writing. No commissions, no products sold, so there is no version of this where one recommendation quietly pays us more than another.

Nobody grew up dreaming about beneficiary designations.

You don't have to find this stuff interesting. Bring the questions and the deadlines; we'll take the parts that put people to sleep.

Success is defined by seeing clients become more educated, more confident, and more intentional with the resources they have been entrusted with.

FAQ

Questions people ask first

What does "fee-only" mean, and how do you get paid?

You pay one annual advisory fee, charged as a percentage of the assets we manage, and nothing else. No commissions, no product sales, and no third party paying us on the side. That is what "fee-only" means, and it is the reason no recommendation can quietly pay us more than another. The full rate is on our fee schedule and is set out in your advisory agreement before you sign anything.

Are you a fiduciary?

Yes, always. As a state-registered investment adviser, Chase Wealth Management is held to a fiduciary standard and is required to act in your best interest. Because the only person paying us is you, that duty and how we are paid point the same direction.

What services do you offer?

Six areas, handled together in one written plan: financial planning, tax planning, investments, business planning & analysis, legacy & estate planning, and liability & risk. They are coordinated rather than sold separately, because they do not behave like separate problems. A tax decision is an investment decision is an estate decision.

Do you prepare my tax return?

No. Tax planning here means working the highest-impact decisions through beforehand (asset location, when income lands, when gains are realized) rather than explaining them after. Your CPA files the return; the planning comes first, and the two are meant to work together.

Do you draft my will or trust?

No. Your attorney drafts the legal documents. Our part is making sure your account titling and beneficiary designations actually agree with what those documents say, because they only do their work if the accounts have been told about them.

How do we get started, and what does a first meeting cost?

It starts with a conversation at no cost and no obligation, a chance to map where you are and see whether we are the right fit. Nothing is sold on it. From there we build your written plan and portfolio and walk you through it line by line, then keep it current as your life, your business, or the law changes the inputs.
